The Itinerary
Day 1
Muswellbrook, Tamworth
Start your journey with a morning tea break at the M1 Service Centre, followed by a scenic drive to Muswellbrook for lunch.
Afterward, continue to your destination and check in to your accommodation.
In the evening, enjoy happy hour before a 2-course dinner at the hotel.
Day 2
Gunnedah, Lunch at Caroll Gap Farmhouse
After breakfast, head to Gunnedah for a town tour, including a visit to the painted silos and the Rural Museum.
Enjoy morning tea before departing for a charming lunch at Caroll Gap Farmhouse, where you can play croquet on the lawn and feed the chickens.
Return to your accommodation for happy hour and a 2-course dinner.
Day 3
Tamworth, Australian Stock Horse Show, Cala Cottage
Begin the day with a local guide’s tour of Tamworth before attending the Australian Stock Horse Championships at the Australian Equine & Events Centre.
After a lunch in Tamworth, visit the historic Calala Cottage and precinct.
Return to your accommodation for happy hour before heading out for dinner in town.
Day 4
Wallabadah, Quirindi, Werris Creek
After breakfast, explore the First Fleet Memorial Gardens and visit Bob’s Shed.
Enjoy a BBQ lunch cooked by Mrs. Bob before heading to Werris Creek to view the historic railway station, museum, and memorial to railway workers.
Return to your accommodation for happy hour and a 2-course dinner.
Day 5
Nundle, Wool Mill & Goldmine
Start with a guided tour of the Nundle Wool Mill, followed by a visit to the Mt Misery Gold Mine for a unique inspection.
Enjoy lunch at the mine café and then visit Chaffey Dam before heading back to Tamworth for a stop at the Big Golden Guitar.

Day 6
Scone, Cessnock & Home
After breakfast, depart for Scone with a morning tea stop before continuing to Cessnock for lunch.
After lunch, start your journey back home with comfort stops on the way, arriving at your drop-off location by early evening.
